What is REPURPOSED YOU?

REPURPOSED YOU is our circular wardrobe initiative that allows clients to reimagine existing garments through two pathways: SIGNATURE and BESPOKE. Both options prioritize thoughtful design, waste reduction, and intentional creation.

Why repurpose instead of buying new?

Repurposing extends the life of garments, reduces textile waste, and creates deeply personal pieces that carry history and meaning—without compromising design integrity.

Are all garments eligible?

Not all garments are suitable. Fabric condition, fiber content, garment type and structural integrity are assessed before acceptance. Final approval is at our discretion to ensure quality outcomes.

SIGNATURE

What is REPURPOSED YOU — SIGNATURE?

SIGNATURE allows you to contribute garments from your wardrobe into the creation of select catalogue styles. These designs follow established silhouettes and construction standards.

How does SIGNATURE work?

1. Choose an eligible catalogue design 

2. contribute what you have

4. A garment assessment form will be sent to your email 

5. fill the form 

6. Garments are assessed and approved, then we arrange to recieve them

7. Your garment is integrated into the chosen design

8. Production and quality checks

Can I customize a SIGNATURE piece?

Customization is limited to fit and minor detailing. Structural or silhouette changes are not included.

What happens to unused fabric?

Any leftover usable material may be archived or responsibly recycled. Scraps are not returned.

What is the turnaround time?

Typically 4–6 weeks from approval and payment.

BESPOKE

What is REPURPOSED YOU — BESPOKE?

BESPOKE is a fully custom, one-on-one process that transforms cherished garments into entirely new designs tailored specifically to you.

Is there a consultation?

Yes. A paid BESPOKE consultation is required. This session explores garment potential, design direction, feasibility, and cost estimates.

What happens during the consultation?

• Garment assessment

• Design discussion and references

• Construction possibilities and limitations

• Timeline and pricing overview

Can multiple garments be used?

Yes. Multiple garments may be combined depending on fabric compatibility and design intent.

Will the final piece look exactly like the sketch?

Designs are interpretive. While the essence is maintained, outcomes may evolve based on fabric behavior and construction realities.

What is the turnaround time?

Typically 6–10 weeks, depending on complexity.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is based on:

• Design complexity

• Number of garments used

• Fabric condition and preparation

• Construction time

Is the consultation fee deductible?

For BESPOKE, consultation fees may be deducted from the final invoice if you proceed.

Do you offer refunds?

All fees are non-refundable once production begins.

GARMENT CARE & RESPONSIBILITY

Do you repair damaged garments?

Minor repairs may be included. Extensive damage may result in rejection or added cost.

Who is responsible for shrinkage or wear?

Natural wear, fiber fatigue, and minor imperfections are inherent to repurposed garments and accepted as part of the process.

FINAL NOTES

Do you document the process?

Yes. With consent, parts of the repurposing journey may be documented for archival or storytelling purposes.

Why are quantities limited?

REPURPOSED YOU prioritizes craftsmanship over volume. Limited capacity ensures quality and intentionality.
